1 / 69
Nvidia please fix drivers for nvidia geforce gtx860m! the last 2 drivers are not working at all, games crash, card isnt detectable and more and more... the last working driver is 355,98!!! i have seen alot of fuss about this graphic's card drivers on internet and this forum.. Newer games need better drivers for better performance, im trying to play BO3 on 355,98 and i get low performance and flickering lights, ofc if i update the drivers, the game crashes on start or on the mission briefing.. this is a serious problem please fix it!!

Same problem. Flickering on BO3 are game breaking.. This really needs fixing. Got a Lenoveo Y50-70 with GTX860M and have to use 355.98 drivers if i don't want the game to crash every minute...

Hello guys, same here, but atleast for me, the last working driver is 358.87 on my Acer Aspire Nitro V 17 with GTX 860M 4GB, but it's true, that one for the Battlefront Beta and above aren't working, game crashes etc. Nvidia please include the fix at least for upcoming Fallout 4 so we laptop players will have no problems with running it :) David

Hi! The last working driver for my Lenovo y50-70 with gtx860M is 355.98. It's very annoying. Updating 2 times graphic card driver and still the same... Can't turn on every app/game which use gtx 860m. PLS FIX IT!

With the newer drivers it either locks up at random or it's a constant barrage of video driver stop and recovery errors. EDIT: My desktop is now indicating 358.91 is available for download. Hmmmm....

I have a Lenovo Y50-70 (GTX 860M) too. The last set of drivers made me realize to go the forums before actually installing any new drivers. Turns out it was a good idea. NVIDIA please fix something when you KNOW its bloody broken.

Out of curiosity. Are your laptops Optimus enabled? I don't have a 860M but I do have a 880M and I have no issues what-so-ever. Know I know IS NOT THE SAME GPU, but is the same family. Also the most important thing to specify is that I don't have OPTIMUS as is a 3D Vision Ready Laptop. If you do have OPTIMUS installed try the following: - See if you can disable Optimus in BIOS - Try to use an external monitor connected directly to the GPU and see if the crashes still happen. (I have a hunch is the "Opti-minus" tech that bust the driver). If you want Nvidia to investigate you need to provide more info, starting with the test above;)

I have a gtx860m and intel 4600hd, i searched on the web for this optimus and stuff, they say every modern laptop has it, but there is no way to turn it off. or am i mistaking? they say its integrated into windows but i have just installed a fresh set of windows a week ago and i hadnt came accros of anything OPTIMUS. UPDATE: just checked nvidias site where all the GPUs are listed and i checked my and it says it has optimus, but idk how to dissable it UPDATE2: searched the web some more, it turns out i cannot disable the integrated gpu on my pc because it it linked with the screen. so if i turn it off my nvidia gpu wont work eather because the nvidia is linked to intel and than to screen.. why do manufactures do this..... so yeah i can only run on 860m..

with the newer drivers, when you want to play, it first runs on the GTX card, but when the card gets abit to sressed, it just shuts down. i played a game and had GPU-Z opened, and when i played a bit my 860m just dissapeared and the game crushed, but it not that the PC just swiched to integrated, but the whole 860m graphic card just dissapeared like i dont have it, untill the next restart.. that happens with the last 3 drivers now..

IIRC Optimus was for much older GPUs, like the 300 series. Nothing "optimus" on my laptop or bios either and I do not have an extra external monitor. And I listened to Flawlezz but curiosity got the better of me... I installed the 358.91 driver with no issues and then I cranked up World of Warcraft. As soon as I got to the playing screen the laptop locked up. Rolled back to 355.98 and everything works fine again.

Same problem here with the last two driver versions. Lenovo Y50-70 with 860M 4GB, i7 processor, 16GB RAM etc. All games either crash or freeze the entire computer (either complete free or BSOD crash) as soon as the card gets heavy performance. All games with this problem worked fine in older drivers (355.82 and older).

yeah its annoying, well the 355.98 that is working for me is okay. but now when new games came out its beeing a problem now.. older games pplay normaly and nothing is wrong, never games like BO3 and FO4 have problems, ptobbly because its an older driver and we 860m users need new one to better play never games...
