GTX 780 - possible fail(as performance) in The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt?
  2 / 115
7series GPU owners, install 347.88 driver and you will get all your performance back. DON'T!!!!! install newer 350.12 and 352.86 drivers, beacuse they don't support GTX760/GTX760Ti, GTX770/GTX770Ti, GTX780/GTX780Ti Those two drivers will significantly cripple your 7series GPU!!!

We payed for a good service and not for joking! Anyway, all Kepler are mentioned for full support for this drivers. http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/85091 In the next hours the game will finally out, and more and better benchmark should be ready in many forums, if this bad performance will be confirmed I'll sale my GTX 780 and will buy a AMD card, I can't accept this situation.

From what I gathered from the internet, the performance of Witcher 3 on Kepler GPUs is pretty terrible and they're vastly outperformed by their AMD counterparts. I'm still waiting for my copy of the game, but it seems 970 can easily hit stable 60fps with some tweaks while it's pretty much impossible for 780, even though the cards are pretty close on paper.

Is there any way to to use 347.88, but get the SLI profile from 352.86? SLI doesn't work on Witcher 3 using 347.88

Try the driver out I'll bet you see lower frame rates on the new than using the old driver. If someone gets the game can they report the benchmarks of the 2.

but i keep an eye on the 780. I like the card but if NV make intentionally downgrades i change from green to red. Unaccaptable, not necessary NV. Just a small info for kepler users ! The highest score with GTX780OC in 3D mark (Fire Strike) i have with 347.25 9587 POINTS ....with 350.12 the score is 9493

Confirmed again in the Witcher 3. 20% performance boost on 350.12 vs 352.86. Going from max 35 fps with all settings at the lowest on new driver vs 45-55 fps with everything maxed except shadows high and hairworks off with the old driver. I'm gonna give them the benefit on the doubt for now but i expect answers. Everyone who has this issue start PM'ing like an SOB and post this everywhere and anywhere till we get a response.
