Got a new video card (GTX 650 Ti Boost OC) but the framerates are exactly the same as my previous 1!
I had a GTS 450 and recently replaced it with a GTX 650 Ti Boost OC. Unfortunately, my computer seems to still act as if the GTS 450 is in my machine as far as framerates in my games go. I don't notice any higher framerates at all. What is wrong? I have the newest GeForce drivers btw My computer is a Gateway DX4860. More details of this comp can be seen at this page: http://support.gateway.com/s/desktop/2011/gateway/dx/dx4860/dx4860sp2.shtml And here are my system specs: Intel Core i3-2100 processor Corsair CX750M PSU Windows 7 64 Bit 6 Gigs of RAM GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost OC And yes, I know about bottlenecking, but I should be seeing SOME increase in FPS. Here's why. In this video, this guy is running Battlefield 4 on a setup very similar to mine (i3 core, GTX 650 Ti), and look how smoothly it's running: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzSTz24hoG0 Thanks!
