EVGA (superclocked) vs GIGABYTE vs MSI: GTX 770 4GB
Hey everyone! My name is Alan and I'm a very indecisive person. I decide to upgrade my PC and buy a nVidia GeForce GTX 770 4GB, but I can't decide what manufacturer choose. This are my choices: - MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 Gaming OC 4GB GDDR5 2DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort PCI-Express Video Card N770 TF 4GD5/OC = $385 - Gigabyte GTX 770 GDDR5-4GB 2xDVI/HDMI/DP OC WINDFORCE 3X Graphics Card GV-N770OC-4GD = $418 - EVGA GeForce GTX 770 Superclocked with ACX Cooler 4 GB GDDR5 256-Bit Dual-Link DVI-I/DVI-D HDMI DP SLI Ready Graphics Card 04G-P4-3774-KR = $420 ________________________________ Now: 1. I'm not thinking in overclock myself, never did it, not interested in doing it now. 2. It worths the money to buy the 4GB instead a 2GB? 3. What would you recommend me about the manufacturer? EVGA offers the "SuperClocked" and I heard that the Gigabyte "WINDFORCE" is really cool. 4. MSI is significantly cheaper (I'm from Argentina, South America and 30 USD is a lot of money for me). ________________________________ My PC specs: - Motherboard: Gigabyte GM 880 USB3 - Processor: AMD FX 8120 2.8Ghz - RAM: 8GB (2x Kingston 4GB). - Video Card: GTX 650 ti 4GB - Power Supply: Sentey BRP700 700W - OS: Windows 7 x64 ________________________________ I really appreciate your time and help. You should make your own topic and describe what are you experiencing when playing COD, besides your PC specs. Hope you can find the solution. See you!

My Opinion is no more important or right than yours. But if your using the LATEST drivers, go back to the prior set.

Piss Poor tech support blame all issues on drivers and assumes that your an idiot. Find a set that you know worked and see if the problem exists still.

""Don't f with it if it ain't broken!""

Constantly updating drivers is a good way to F'up the whole system.

Feel free to PM me if I stop responding :)

Gigabyte fanboy here.... All three deservingly have their fanboys though. Draw straws, if you must.
Take a look at the PNY only it does not have any games.
Strange that. It says three games + USB drive 'limited offer', but they don't mention it in the text as do the other cards. Hmm - +1 Newegg vs Amazon (even though we can't use either down here in Oz, where we get only one free game and pay about $100 more for a 770 ).

Regarding the games, I already receive the code to redemption them: AC IV, Splinter Cell Black List and Batman Arkhan City. Can't find the "USB drive" you mentioned anyway.

The MSI version is the most powerful of them. So go and get it. As a owner of a MSI 560 TI that it also pre overclocked i must say i have a very good experience with it. Low temps, no noice e.t.c But it is a 5 months old card and i am not sure if it is worth to spend money on a month old product. Perfomance in games is still very good however.
