Geforce Experience encountered an error and must close
When trying to start Geforce Experience, I always get an error message "Geforce Experience encountered an error and must close.". I only get that (rather unhelpful) error message. Nothing else shows up.

Uninstalling and reinstalling did not help. Still getting this error on the latest stable release. The icon in the taskbar isn't showing up, either. I can sometimes get it to open, but then I get the same error when trying to optimize games sometimes. Very annoying.

The same issue here on my pc. Intel i7, Win 8.1, 64GB, 2x ASUS Titan. De-installing, re-installing, and now finally, deinstalling. still encountering the error. I'm done with it.

Same error! Here my pc info. Amd 4300. Windows 7 pro, 8GB, CyberPower. Uninstall and Re-Install, and it still have the same problem. Please help.

Also, a cyberpower build, also having this issue. I had this issue for a while a few months ago, I think I updated something and it vanished. I've recently upgraded my pc to Windows 10 and the problem began when I tried to optimize my settings for DayZ again. I actually completely uninstalled it, downloaded it from this website and installed it again... Now I can't even open it without getting the error. I'm so glad I haven't invested in a shield product and found an alternative to shadowplay, way to enhance your competition, Nvidia. Stick to making graphics cards.
Also, a cyberpower build, also having this issue. I had this issue for a while a few months ago, I think I updated something and it vanished.

Hello, I went to open the GeForce Experience App because I noticed a yellow exclamation point next to the icon on the taskbar. But when I went to open it I got a warning box that says: GeForce Experience encountered an error and must close. I am posting because this thread is old and I was wondering if the solution has changed and rather I ought to try to uninstall and reinstall it or not.
