new gtx 660 ti resets pc from any game
Just installed a new gtx 660 ti from asus. Now when playing any game the pc freezes and has to be hard reset. The pc is fine in normal use and crashes when playing games. I have tried running Crysis 3, battlefield 3 and medal of honour warfitghter. \Have updated drivers with same result. system is. asus p5n-d m/board intel q6600 quad 2.4 ghz 8 gig ram vista 64bit

Same Problem. Dont know what to do. Try to use driver 310.54 i check it yesterday for 1 hour and it was OK but i need to test it again for a long time to be sure this is the solution. Nvidia release recently bad drivers for the 6XX family.

just tried driver 314.07 with same result tho it did last a little longer and just dropped me to the desktop. The driver fails when a "light" appears in the game ( a street light) etc.

yes and i had exactly the same result :( Once again it dropped me to the desktop rather than restart.
