I have this same issue. NVIDIA experience shows in the task bar as sucessfully installed, but launching the program just gets a "cursor wheel", as if the computer were working on launching the app, then nothing. There are no extra apps, processes, or services running that I can tell. My goal is to optimize world of tanks. Here is my setup: OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 CPU: Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.40GHz Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology RAM: 16.0 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 797MHz (11-11-11-28) MB: Alienware 0KM92T (CPU 1) 28 °C GPU: ASUS VS197 (1366x768@60Hz) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Intel HD Graphics 4000 HDD: 932GB Seagate ST31000524AS ATA Device (SATA)

I have the same problem. GeForce Experience is correctly installed, it shows in the task bar but if I try to open it from the task bar, the desktop shortcut or the start menu it just shows the waiting cursor for a moment and nothing happens. It works perfectly on one of my PC's but not the other, so weird. Windows 8 64-bit GTX 460 Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz 8GB RAM

@ Meph88 I have exactly the same problem. On one PC it works perfectly and on the other I have this mentioned problem. I tried a lot of things to solve the problem with no success. Is there already a solution? What about you NVIDIA? Windows 7 64-bit GTX 480 Intel Core i5-2500 8GB RAM

i've just uninstalled, rebooted, installed it again and now it seems to work. It also found an update (1.7.1). I hope to have solved the issue this time

It didn't work for me when I launched it from the taskbar. It does work when I launch it from a desktop shortcut. What I did to make it work from the taskbar is have GeForce Experience boot up in admin mode. As in go to the main .exe of geforce experience, right click, properties, compatibility, run in admin mode. So when I turn on the PC, it automatically launches as admin and taskbar icon works again.
