driver have bugs, but this is not one of them. Now go fix it already." -fgiesen

I see. Well, the error has been reported many times on several forums meanwhile. I don't think NVIDIA will be having trouble reproducing it. Click setup.exe and wait. :-)
So do these beta drivers fix the cold boot issue for ppl with sli 680's?
Yes. I've received PM's from users that the International setup installer is giving some users error messages. I am having QA investigate this issue. In the meantime, if the International version will not install, you may try installing manually through the Device Manager or use the English version for now.

Please send me a PM if I fail to keep up on replying in any specific thread or leave a driver feedback: Driver Feedback

Is this at all related to the 690 2D Surround hard lockup issue as stated here: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/527854/geforce-600-series/gtx690-surround-hard-system-lockup-with-drivers-301-42/ One of the symptoms was the system booting on occasion without drivers loading. I am rather frustrated that I have to revert to such old drivers to make this card run reliable.

I updated to the new Beta drivers and my 2nd video card is still saying Code 43? 310.90 killed one of my cards. Still not fix for this issue? I still can't get my 2nd $500 card to work! I had the reboot issue over and over. I have a EVGA GTX 680 and a Galaxy GTX 680. I had the Galaxy in the first slot and it kept rebooting. I got fed up and reinstalled windows again and kept failing over and over. I swapped the EVGA into the first slot and now got it installed properly after a few reboots getting driver installed. After getting into Windows, the 2nd card which is now the Galaxy card says Code 43 and it disables my card. New driver did not fix the issue. I had no issues before the 310.xx drivers. Only playing Black Ops2 with just the EVGA video cards, but the driver keeps crashing. 1) 1 x EVGA GeForce GTX 680 2048MB and 1 x Galaxy GTX 680 OC 2GB 2) 80.04.09.00.80 3) AsRock Z77 Extreme IV 4) Windows 8 64 5) SanDisk Exteme 240GB SSD

I also have a code 43: 2 x ASUS Geforce GTX 480 Tried beta drivers, 2nd card still has code 43. Tried rolling back to 306.95, still code 43. Tried both upgrade and clean install modes. If I remove the card with code 43 from device manager and re-scan for hardware, the card comes back with no error. If I reboot, the error is back on the 2nd card. If I also enable SLI, while both cards have no error...upon reboot I get a blank black display on logging in Windows - I then can only access my desktop if I reboot into Safe Mode, and have to uninstall the driver to be able to access Windows in Normal boot mode.
