[Linux] New 310 driver breaks HDMI audio (GTS 250 etc.)
Original post: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1206009 I have a GTS 250 card. Updated from 304.60 driver to 310.19 driver (Arch Linux). HDMI audio stopped working. Reinstalled to previous driver as a workaround. I use the 'Digital Output (S/PDIF)' as device and the 'Digital Stereo Duplex (IEC958)' as profile. Compared the presented output between both versions, no difference. Also campared output from PulseAudio (see link above), no difference. Ideas on additional tests? Yup. I have a thread about this below. I have a GTX 680 and when I installed the new drivers, it killed my HDMI audio also. Gonna try to install old drivers when I get home. There are quite a few other reports of this on other websites also. I was hoping someone halfway official would answer these issues here, so far I have been disappointed.
