Nothing new here the drivers HAVE ALWAYS done this. Change things from Monitor it self. This has nothing to do with the drivers for that matter it a function of Windows and how it controls the settings( dont install nvidia drivers and use Windows Monitor Calibration program ans you will notice same thing happen) OS issue not Drivers. Make your complaint towards Microsoft. Last i checked AMD dont have this issue cause the decided to fix a OS problem with there drivers. And last I checked Nvidia knows this and has no intention of fixing it seeing people been complain about for many years now. Calibrate the monitor it self, not the video cards settings. Digital Vibrance is the only setting that sticks

(I'm not having the exact same problem) Every time I go into the game (click on the icon) the screen settings turn super weird and bland. As fast as I exit out the game (go into another application my screen is back to normal. If I have the game (CSGO) in windowed mode and click and Chrome (any application) my csgo in the background is normal, but as fast as I go into the game the screen goes back to being weird. (The second I enter and exit the game there is a second of black screen (when it´s updating the display) Are there any fixes for this problem now?

Here's how to change it: 1. Open NVIDIA Control Panel 2. Select "Adjust desktop colour settings" under Display 3. Scroll to the bottom and select either "Desktop programs" or "Full-screen videos" from the dropdown menu (personal preference)

Thanks for noting this though, appears to have fixed the lowering the contrast on 3 of my monitors and upping it on the last (top left bottom left and bottom right all have +100 top right due to angle has -100 to look right so it was obvious when the issue started) If this wasn't something a recent update had any impact on then I'm confused as to why the issue suddenly popped up.

I have a possible solution for this bug on system restart, but I can't say the same for full screen games

TDLR; Windows color cal. reverts Nvidia's
Fix (Perform this at your own risk):
  1. Open Start Menu and type in "Task Scheduler" Select and open "Task Scheduler"
  2. In the Task Schedule window navigate to (Task Schedular Library > Microsoft > Windows > WindowsColorSystem)
  3. In the task list locate "Calibration Loader" right click this task, and select disable

Notes:
The problem originates from the way Windows handles its own color profile settings on user log in. Windows task is a bit slow when doing this so it ends up reverting any color profiles setup through other applications. The Nvidia color profile task seems to run faster than the Windows color calibration so it ends up reverting the changes. I imagine this could fix other issues with other programs that manage color profiles as well.
