Why? The installation begins and then aborts with an installation status window that lists 'NVIDIA Update......Failed' GeForce Experience has not been attempted in the installation.

This also happens to me, except it happens whenever I install NVIDIA Update, whether it is through drivers or through this, the GeForce Experience [img]http://i.imgur.com/448GL.png[/img]

guys, few question regarding your system: 1) Which OS are you using Windows 7 or Windows 8? 2) Which NVIDIA driver version is currently installed on your system? Thanks!

Same issue here: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 Driver version: 306.97 (9.18.13.697) EDIT: Install worked after closing out of the NVIDIA systray application and reattempting.

My install is failing to update itself after a successful install. Getting the same error too on my GTX 560 Ti with 310.70. I tried installing in safe mode but the program refuses to install.

Updating to the latest beta driver, 310.70, did not change the error I'm seeing.

I enabled logging and it looks as though the problem has to do with a failure to encrypt UpdatusUser information. I have linked the relevant log file (http://speedy.sh/Pp8Gn/LOG.setup.exe.log). The relevant time tag is "2012-12-14 03:14:10.913"

I'm also having this issue, my specs: 2x EVGA GTX 680 4GBs Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Updating from: 310.70 Beta Updating to: 3710.70 WHQL
