Brightness problem.
After installing the 310.70 drivers I cannot adjust the brightness on my laptop. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is there a fix?

Yes I'm having the exact same problem. Don't know if it's related, but I'm actually running windows 7 on bootcamp on a 15 inch macbook pro, with the GeForce 650M. Haven't found a fix, including removing and redetecting my display on the device manager, as someone else suggested, and rebooting.

Our latest 310.70 driver should corrected the problem on many Macbooks. If you still can not adjust brightness, please visit the link and report the bug directly so that we can add support for your system. When doing so, please be sure to attach your MS system info file(tip is at the link below). http://nvidia-submit.custhelp.com/app/answers/list http://nvidia-submit.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2651 Thanks.

Similar to my advice to Soloman212, please report the issue to the link below and be sure to attach the MS Info file. http://nvidia-submit.custhelp.com/app/answers/list http://nvidia-submit.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2651 Thanks.

I'm using Windows 8 Pro x64 on a Mid 2012 MacBook 15 inch non retina model. Today morning, I upgraded from 306.97 to 310.70 and am unable to adjust the brightness since then. Under version 306.97, I could adjust. Even my friend who is on a Dell Inspiron 15R and upgraded to 310.70 is unable to adjust the brightness. Tried everything - Mobility Center, Charms Bar, Power Options. Nothing works. Please release a fix soon.

I'm experiencing the same issue after the 310.70 update, on a Dell Vostro 3700 with Geforce GT 330M. I have also reverted to 306.97 for the time being, so that I'm not forced to work with 100% brightness. I've ensured the EnableBrightnessControl value is set in registry, which seems to make no difference. For what it's worth, I've noticed the release notes mention the following change under 310.54:
[GeForce GT 320M]: F1 and F2 brightness keys do not have any effect on the screen brightness. [1168492]
Could this possibly be a related regression?

Hi Everyone, Looks like our developers are aware of this issue and should be fix soon. We hope to have a fix for the Release 313.xx driver next month. In the mean time, please stick with the working driver. In case the driver update doesn't fix your problem, please let us know. Sorry for the incovenience.

I have the same problem with 310.70 on my: Lenovo Y500 Windows 8 GT 650m It worked fine on the 306.00 driver included but I want to stick with the 310.70 since it improved quite a bit the performances in some games like Far Cry 3.

Having an issue with the brightness of my display. Ive recently just installed a new GTX 850 "classified" graphics card and my display is just a bit too bright. Ive tried regulating the brightness of the monitor and the software settings but the display just keeps a constant pixel brightness that cannot be adjusted. Hope this can be fixed in a driver update. Wondering if others are experiencing the same issue as well. thanks
