Is there any way to get a dynamic in-game crosshair? Other than disabling the in-game crosshair and enabling Nvidia's laser sight.

Helix fix the crosshair and it's dynamic.

Hmm. I used the fix, wasn't dynamic as far as I could tell. I just checked the page again and noticed this: Update: Added 3D crosshairs support for 1680x1050 resolution. Maybe my resolution is throwing it off. I can't play at 1920x1080 because of the overscan on my DLP, lose the edges. I can't scale on the GPU because of the way checkerboard works, needs to be 1:1. So I play at 1804x1014 which fills the screen nicely and keeps 3D in check.

Almost sure that its the resolution....remember Helix have to change the ini file in order to support others resolutions.

Yeah I see the section for it in the DX9Settings.ini, I'll try replacing the [VB65F01D17.1] (1600x900) section with my resolution seeing as it's a 16:9 ratio as well. If that doesn't work I'll just try to play it at 1920x1080, really hate to bother HeliX with a silly resolution request since it's been so long since he was asking for feedback about them.

Are the videos available on Youtube.com or 3dtv.com?

That didn't work, I just went with 1920x1080. I'll just have to deal with a bit of overscan, it's not too bad ... on the desktop I lose about 2/3 of the taskbar but in-game it's hardly noticeable at all. I haven't played many FPV games in 3D, this game is pretty sick. On a 65" DLP at 6' or so and the FOV cranked up all the way the hands on the screen are right about in scale with my actual hands. Being on rooftops and looking down at an almost 1:1 scale is definitely kicking in senses it really shouldn't be. :D Can't wait to try out Mirror's Edge in 3D now.

Arkane Studio is going to use CryEngine for upcoming titles instead of planed ID Engine. I dont know about that - should we be happy. There will be 3D even if weak one but i really liked this moded version of Unreal Engine. Gave this game very unkque steam-punk sort of style.

Weak is being kind of polite. The 3D in Crysis is completely fake (3D gun and 2D background). Don't have high hopes for it, but who knows. Maybe if they're supporting Rift, 3D in their new engine won't be so terrible.

Thanks guys. And cheers for the file, eqzitara. Should you put it on the helixblog page? (for others' benefit?)
