gtx 460 bf3 gpu usage fluctuating/ freezing.
hello. i changed my gpu and psu yesterday. i tried to play bf3 but it's freezing and gpu usage is fluctuating. here is my gpu usage:http://d1206.hizliresim.com/y/q/8jjvh.png cpu and ram usage:http://d1206.hizliresim.com/y/q/8jjv4.png
my system: 600w thermaltake psu 4gb ram i5 2400 processor gtx 460 gpu
psu is enough and processor can't be bottlenecking. so what is the issue? :\

I've noticed the same issue as well. I have 2 470 in SLI and both have the same GPU utilization pattern, regardless of driver version (currently using WHQL 296.10). I've only noticed this on BF3, not sure if owners of other series of cards have the same problem (R500 and R600).

When you run BF3, keep an eye on your "Perfoverlay" graph. I've noticed when I use 300 series drivers for my 470sli, my GPU latency (green line) is higher than my CPU and notice lower average FPS, performance, and more stuttering. Once I switch back to 290.10, things go back to normal (GPU latency is in sync with CPU latency).

When I get home, I'll post up some screen caps.

so do i need to use old driver? i conacted with ea help but they said "change ur psu with 800w". i told them nvidia says 450w is even enough but they know nothing. the problem still exsists. what i should do?

If I was you, I would try out 296.10. I personally run it with video settings at Ultra but with AA Deferred disabled. (AA post set to high). If I max out everything, there are still stutters, even with 470sli, disabling AA makes a big difference for me.
