Rollback to 296.10 from 301.42 [Help]
Hi, I've been having a few troubles with games since installing the 301.42 version drivers for my laptop. I'm on a Macbook Pro 15" with a GeForce 9400M, currently in Bootcamp on Windows 7. The option to roll back to 296.10 has been greyed out (in the Device Manager). I'm wondering how I can roll back to 296.10 without using said roll back feature. I tried uninstalling the driver and I ended up complicating things. I uninstalled and tried installing the 296.10 version, but it wouldn't detect my "card". I ended up restarting and I now have the 301.42 version installed (for some reason, this version worked) and my nVidia Control Panel is no longer there.

Thanks for any help possible.

uninstall old driver, boot into safemode, run driverswpper, tick boxes nvidia driver and physx, hit clean, reboot, install driver of choice

this is the way all drivers for gpu should always be done

if you need a page of instructions go to the driver forum first sticky there called how to install drivers it well walk you through what I just said
