Asus P8Z68
Hi all, first time post here (I usually never like my first post to be a question). Anyway, I have never attempted a serious gaming rig yet. SO I have my questions, mainly with SLI.

Here's the set up I'm looking at:

Intel i7 2600k
Asus P8Z68
CORSAIR AX1200 PSU
GTX570 SLI

From what I gather, I can run the GTX570 in SLI on the MOBO I have (P8Z68 pro), but I'm unsure.
Can anyone offer a little assistance with my first gaming rig, I would really appreciate it!

Maybe a little heads up of things I need to know before a purchase too.

Depends which version of the P8Z68 you get. Some support SLI and some don't.

Hey there and welcome to the forums!

The Pro model supports SLI, and are solid boards. Ive done 4 builds with the P8Z68 boards, 2 of them with the Pro model. I use the deluxe model in my rig.

Nice! Can't wait to get started!

As stated above, I'll be using two GTX 570s. Where do I find an SLI bridge?

Again, which specific version do you have? The P8Z68-M Pro does not support SLI while the P8Z68-V Pro does. If your motherboard supports SLI then it will come with an SLI bridge or cable. If for some reason you've lost yours then Amazon or eBay is always a good place to find a cheap SLI cable.
