Need help with GeForce Go 8400M GT Nvidia Control Panel
I have a Sony laptop that is a few years old and they try to prohibit you from updating the drivers.

I installed (manually) the 296.10 drivers today and they are working fine except that I can not figure out how to update the NVIDIA Control panel since the Nvidia installer can not detect my graphics card for whatever reason.

Any ideas? I tried manually installing some of the update components and was able to with some but not all. I would really like to get the control panel up to speed.

Didn't work it says no compatible Hardware found. When I did a manual install it failed to install the driver and then the video was only showing on the HDMI output.

I have heard about people having success with hacked .inf files or something. Not sure....
