Driver crashes GTX570m Out of ideas
Hello everyone !

I own MSI GT780DX about 2 months old .

I am experiecing Timeout detection and recovery problems on several games listed down below..

I have tryed million of things , updated BIOS , installled every single driver from Nvidia compatible with my VGA , used safe-mode , changed registry values ...

The Laptop was allready RMA'd in Poland , i described the problem and they did a Performance test , reinstalled OS and everythings was ok .

But it isn't , it keeps happening even now when the Laptop came back .

A short description of the problem :

When i start the problematic game , it is running for a different ammount of time , it can be 5seconds , half a minute or even 15minutes and longer ... it depends on game
and it will happen on the exact part of the game every time .

Also , when i unplug the adapter , every game works fine but with terrible FPS . When i plug it back , the FPS rapidly increases but the game crashes again . No BSOD , just a Driver crash and app stop.

A couple of things i tryed to was :

- Test with FurMark
- Overclocked / Underclocked
- Changed Windows Theme
- Changed compatibility
- Set adapter to max performance
- Messed with the Nvidia control panel settings
- Changed compatibility mode

Now to the games :

Battlefield 3 , Battleffield Bad Company , Battlefield P4F - couple of seconds , then crash
Just cause 2 - 15-30minutes , then crash
Sniper elite V2 - crash in menu
NFS The Run - No problems at all
Crysis 2 - No problems at all
Alan wake - 15-30minutes , then crash
Amnesia - No problems at all
Minecraft - No problems at all
Ridge Racer Unbounded - No problems at all

And this is the point which makes me think of a question :

Why doesnt it crash on all the games ? Why only on some of them . The complete mindfreak is that BF 3 is running on the same engine as Need for speed the Run and the problem occurs only in BF 3 .

Please guys help me .
