Toy Soldiers 3D Ready
  1 / 3
i purshase this game for my father (He likes WWII/War stuff) and the game is 3D Vision Ready.....look really good. By default the convergence is set very high, so i have to lower a bit.
There are some little text (earn money) and little energy bar that could be deeper.

The game is a mix action-strategy. very fun game (i played 20 minutes)

some screenshot, i will add more:

i fix the Crosshair, now is 3D.
Now the game is 3D vision ready.

Copy the content (shaders folder, DX9Settings.ini and DLL) in the same folder where .exe is.

Gratz. I had a ton of trouble with dx9settings.ini when I first tried to do it. Now its pretty simple. Glad it worked out for you. Check your PM.

AWESOME GAME...This is as addictive and fun as angry birds but 3D!

I am still seeing the 2D crosshair though. Can you check again? /thanks.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thanks:' />

@sammaz i know the code is right, because if you delete the DX9Settings.ini the "Toy Soldiers" letter in the main menu is pushed back (The Crosshair and this menu is in the same VS) and i tested at home. I will take some screenshots tonight.

Try change the value of depth in the VS (18256DB3.txt).
Change the 0.95 value for 1 or higher. I think this is due the game has a high value of convergence and the code not adjust (pushed back) when you increase the convergence or with a high value of convergence. I play with the 0 convergence in soldiers in the main menu and the Crosshair work fine.
def c220, 0.95, 0, 0.0625, 0
and yes the game is very fun and addictive....great game.

@eqzitara: yes the DX9Settings.ini to separate texture is not difficult to use, lucky me the crosshair is the firt texture, because the VS have more than 20 Textures (HUD element, Crosshair, Loading Screen, Main Menu and others)

Can you make a crosshair disabled version or is it tied into the menu graphics? (I misread your first post)

Also, does this DX9Settings.ini method allow you to disable specific textures within shaders? like when HUD and crosshair are tied together in the same shader?

Thanks!

Sammaz, in order to remove only the crosshair, in the 18256DB3.txt VS delete all the content a put only this (remove VS):
vs_3_0
dcl_position v0
dcl_position o0
Don't delete the DX9Settings.ini file.

There are others Texture in the same VS for the HUD and menus, that can be removed also.

Does that work? You did yours differently then I do my crosshairs so I cant say for certain. If I were to do it on my version it would disable everything.

You do yours differently then I do mine so a bit confused.

mov r14.x, c251.x
if_eq r14.x, c220.w

I need this line to seperate a shader within a shader not certain how you were able to seperate it.

The code i add push back the VS (all the textures of the VS: HUD element, letters in Main menu, Crosshair and others stuff) and add the CRC Texture from the Crosshair in the .ini ...only push back this texture..... now i'm not at home, but i will check again and take some screenshots.

We use that above line
mov r14.x, c251.x
if_eq r14.x, c220.w //if c251 x is 0 turn on shadeder else disable it.

To tell the shader to look at dx9settings.ini

Heres how my dx9settings ini would look

WOW I just got to the flying levels...screenshots here. http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/sammaz/

It is sooooo cool when you get to the flying parts.

Defeating the Tsar Bomba was tough.

DHR fixes working good now.

I was having a problem getting dx9settings.ini to be recognized.
