301.24 beta drivers BSOD, Lock ups, TDR'S
Well, since the 296.10 drivers caused browser/desktop related crashes and I had to roll back to the 275.33 drivers, I have been a little hesistant to try the 301.24 Beta.

Just wanted to ask the community if anyone is having TDR browser/desktop crashes with this new beta driver.

I would certainly give it a go, a lot of people are saying that the TDR issue has been fixed. I can't speak for myself though as I've never had this problem.

Just tried 301.24 drivers. 2 Lock ups in the browser. Rolled back to the driver 275.33.

When are you going to fix this problem, Nvidia? It has been going on for over a year, and apparently there are a lot of customers out there with this problem. I filled out your form. By reading th forums, it appears that the problem seems to be browser related and GTX 560 TI related.

Not that being stuck at 275.33 is horrible.

Should I disable hardware acceleration in my browser as fix? This doesn't seem to always correct the problem, though.

I don't recall any BSOD's or TDR's on the latter 290's, they worked great for me. 301 on the other hand has BSOD'ed and TDR'ed as much as the worst of the 280's.
