Best video Card for my computer My geforce 9600gs failed and I need a replacement
I purchaced a HP Pavillion m9515y elite several years ago and the original Video card has failed. I put in GT 430 but it rates lower on my computer. I would like to upgrade without spending a lot of money because I am not a Gammer just watch a lot of Tv and record with Media Center. Vista Home Premium upgrade to DYNEX 520WATT Power Supply, no room to use 2pci slots.

As far as I can tell, your card is about equivalent to a 9600 GSO. A direct replacement is doubtful, as the 9600 GS was an "OEM" card and not released to the general public as retail; I recommend something along the lines of a GT 545 or GTX 550Ti (especially with that updated 520 watt PSU) for a replacement.

Good luck.
