I can't determine why. I'm currently liking the 301.25 driver best for that game.

I just tried installing the 301.32 driver but continually get "installation failed" error. I am running a GTX680 under win 8 cp. Should these drivers work?

Ah, ok. I'm on Windows 7 right now. For you to install them on Windows 8 you've got to boot up Windows 8 with the Disable Driver Signature Enforcement.

Select Settings (right bar)/More PC Settings (at bottom)
Then go General/Advanced Startup/Restart Now/Troubleshoot/Advanced Options/Windows Startup Settings/Restart

Also do a search within Window Settings, find topic called Change Device Installation Settings, and choose your options.

I just tried to upgrade to 301.32 from 301.24, and encountered issues: installation caused the screen to go permanently black until computer reset, and it significantly increased the loading time of all windows startup and log in screens. Downgraded again to .24

Yes. I see no benefit with this driver over 301.24/25, unless you're a developer.
