Major problem with nvidia gt 240 Pc crash while playing games
hello, i just bought a nvidia gt 240 1gb gddr5 and when i play heavy graphic games like witcher 2, nfs the run etc, my pc just shuts down as if the power to it has cut off. I dont get this problem with my old gt 210.

my specs are

intel core-2-duo 2.93 ghz
psu 450 watt odessy
ram 2 gb
mobo- asus p5kpl vm/s


pls help me out....!!!!

your power supply meets the requirements for the GT 240 but how old is the power supply?
power supply units start to lose the amount of power they can provide as they get older
and your issue points directly to power supply failure when your system shuts down the
way you describe.

your power supply meets the requirements for the GT 240 but how old is the power supply?

power supply units start to lose the amount of power they can provide as they get older
