2012 Masters 3D
Any golf fans on here going to watch this?

I heard rumours awhile back that they were NOT going to do 3D this year as they did last year but on MASTERS.com i see mention of it!

ANyone know when/where to catch this???

I mean it says 3pm to 5pm on espn 3D but I don't have that channel... wonder if they will stream it or what? I hate that I have a 3D setup but likely will not have this

anyone that reads this tell me what you know... im in canada

update... ok it seems that Canada is behind the times they do not offer espn 3D here yet.

THis might be a stretch but is there any way someone here can record it and then ... uh.... invite me over (so to speak) wink.

pm me please!

Masters oh yeah!

I have to work tomorrow during these times but if someone is available and cares can you goto Masters.com and see if they are streaming the event over the net in 3D like this website suggests?

This is not working so well for me. It takes a while to buffer to begin with, then is awesome for a few seconds...then it starts to stutter and, after another handful of seconds, finally freezes completely.

It seems like it might be a bandwidth issue on their end. It's certainly not a bandwidth issue on my end. Same issue whether I open the stream in Stereoplayer or Windows Media Player (just shows up side by side in WMP), so I don't think it's anything wrong with the player or 3D specific implementation.

Too bad, I'd really like to watch this. It looks pretty good for the short clips I can see.

I'm in ONtario Canada and I got home today from work so excited and logged on annnnd... the website told me they are not offering streaming in my area... so I'm SOL.

Next Year I'm just going to signup to a cable company that carries it.

I was having the same problem with the high quality stream and I also have plenty of bandwidth. I tried WMP and VLC media player . Both were freezing, much less with VLC. VLC was actually watchable in HQ. The low quality stream did not freeze with either player.

Is anyone capping the 3D coverage from the internet so we can download and view at a later date?

Well, good to know I'm not the only one, but that's too bad. I tried just VLC which seemed better at recovering from the freezes, but in the end still couldn't play smoothly. Not that it would have mattered, since I'm using a PC monitor and need the stream in the 3D Vision player to make use of the SBS format.
