BF3 patch Performance improvement?
I downloaded and installed the new BF3 patch last night and after playing for quite a while it seemed pretty apparent that there was a performance improvement since the patch. Has anyone else noticed this? The gameplay just seemed more fluid and my FPS rarely ever dropped below 60FPS. Maybe I'm just imagining things.

To me the patch improved my performance slightly.
For maps like 16 and 32 players i got a good performance.
For maps with 64 players the FPS drops to 40 some times.

Tyrdstorm, can you do me a favor ?

Try benchmark your FPS using FRAPS pressing F11.
But you must be on Caspian Boarder with FULL 64 players.

I'm curious about your performance.

Exactly, I still get 40Fps when I am outside in big 64 players maps, and I play in 3D Vision with 2x GTX570 in SLI at a low resolution (1280x720p). What´s your rig and your settings?
And you dont need FRAPS, you can measure your framerate with a simple command setting (render.drawfps 1)

Cheers
