GTX 580 SLI vs GTX 680 SLI :(
I finally got my gtx 680 sli from newegg and set it up immediately. I installed nvidia 301.10 driver and ran some bench test. Here are the result I've got compared to my previous gtx 580 sli @ 823/1069/1645. So far some games are better, some games are worse. I suppose this is due to driver not being matured yet. Hopefully it gets better as new drivers come out. As for running temperature I get load temperature of 79c/72c vs old gtx 580 sli's 85c/81c. Noise level is significantly lower. I am not really happy with overall result so far though. :(

Thanks, I appreciate this info. It looks more like the GTX 680 is only like 5% better than a GTX 580. I'm going to hold off on upgrading and wait until the GK 110 chip comes out. Right now I have two GTX 580's. Since I play a lot of Battlefield 3 in 3D Vision, it looks like two GTX 680's only pull 55 fps on Ultra settings. I want 60 FPS at all times in 3D.

It looks like you have vsync enabled while you're testing. This is capping some of your max values, but as you can see the min values are significantly higher. Disable vsync and test again and I bet it will be much different.

He's clearly denoting the "useless Vsync" results as "3D" which isn't useless at all, its accurate since 3D Vision imposes a global framerate cap of 60FPS per eye.....

OP, do you also get a 40Fps CAP when playing Battlefied 3 in 3D Vision in those big 64 players maps, when you´re outside?
I have 2x GTX570 SLI overclocked and play in 3D Vision at a low resolution (1280x720, with a Projector) and should be getting 60Fps all the time but the frames drop to 40 in these situations...seems to be a game engine cap or something and been waiting for a Dice patch to correct it but still no luck. Please confirm.
Also, with the new beta driver, did your overall results improved, when compared to the 580´s, like you hoped?

Cheers

Gfx score seems kinda low for 680's in SLI?

3DMark Score P9468
Graphics Score 9665
Physics Score 9546
Combined Score 8130

Get that with a 590 GTX, same CPU but probably at a lower clock, since the Physics score is lower. I get worse performance with the 301.24 drivers where they glitch causing high gpu usage and very low fps as a result.

That score is ok for a single 680. Are you sure you have the sli working?
