NVIDIA Driver issues - version 296.10 Updatede from older version 285.62
I recently updatede from an old version 285.62 to 296.10, because of some minor problem about ingame spikes, which wern't because of bad internet connection or hardware trouble. I tried too update my videocard to 296.10, trying to fix it. Instead the problem just got doubled, after about 3 min ingame, any game, the computer start to make spikes, drops from 30-40 fpm to 1 or 2 fpm, it goes on for about 3min.. and it turns back to normal. While ive got the spikes, the computer becomes extremely hot, enough to boil and egg.

I havnt got the slightest idea why it act like this.. need help

Got myself a MSI GX 720, about 4 years old.

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Due CPU 2.26 ghz
4gb DDR2 ram
nVIDIA Geforce 9600M GT 3D Graphic Card with DDR3 512 MB

[edit] Disregard for now. Thought it was driver issues as that's the only thing I changed but I appear to be having some SSD problems, too (bad blocks).
