So i upgraded my computer sometime ago. It's working but has rly low fps and drops. When i play league of legends i play at 50fps and sudently drops to 5-10fps, aion the same thing, and the other games. Crysis 2 has rly unstable fps allways dropping like 5 in 5 seconds.
So i'd like to know if it's just me that i'm going crazy or there is something wrong.
My hardware:
Geforce Gts 450
Amd Phenom II x4 955
Samsung 1tb
Asrock N68c-GS ucc

I have a similar problem in flightgear with the GTS 450. It only happens in these conditions, in or near extensive cloud cover (3d clouds turned on) and smoke and fire from a crash (gets worse as the fire spreads).
In these conditions the fps can go down to 4-5fps. In clear conditions it can go up to 140fps. On the ground in moderate amount of objects it is about 40-50fps.
I am using the latest driver: 295.73
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 960T 3GHz
motherboard: MSI 870AG54
memory: 4096Mb 2x2048Mb, dual channel, OC 1600Mhz.
I have also altered the preferences.xml file to make use of multicores in the CPU.
The developer of the 3d clouds in flightgear told me that with his 3 1/2 year old lap top the lowest fps in similar conditions, he gets is about 20fps. He thinks it might be the nvidia driver.
