EVGA introduces the Classified SR-X, a new high-end motherboard that will reportedly be sold for $648.99.
EVGA Corporation.

This motherboard sets a new standard for what is considered an enthusiast motherboard with dual CPU support, 4-way SLI support, SATA III 6 GB/s, SAS, USB 3.0 and more. Whether you are an extreme power user, workstation, server admin, folder/cruncher; this is the ultimate board for you. This board was designed from the ground up to support the latest and greatest in technology, and be able to complete any task you throw at it faster than you ever thought possible.

New and Key features introduced on the EVGA Classified SR-X motherboard:

Dual 6 Phase PWM
100% POSCAP Capacitors
EVGA EZ Voltage Read Points
Onboard Clear CMOS, Power and Reset Buttons
NVIDIA 4-Way SLI Support
PCI-E/DIMM Disable Switches
More Gold Content in CPU Pins
EVGA EVbot Support

It will be interesting to c if any builds crop up at the shop that will include this board, thinking of one for myself or an "Ubber Demo Creation" for the shop but that's alot of board to sit in inventory, this would be a "order when proposal is paid" type deal .It is to drool, that's for sure.

Well, depending upon PCIe lane distribution (& if anything better comes out for Ivy / Ivy-E) - I guess this will be my board /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' />

I knew I hadn't imagined it... now it's deleted = people will never know what I hadn't imagined...

I still can't stand the mis-matched DIMM ranks.

Also, there is no current unlocked Xeons for the board. So the only way you can OC is by moving the CPU bclck straps...
