Mass Effect 3 in 3D 3D Walkthrough, 3D Review and Xpadder 360 Profile

Gentleman,

The Normandy is due to land any day now and in preparation, we have put together a beautiful 45min 3D video of Mass Effect 3 in action (Narrated version being uploaded as I type this). Click here to see the video

Our in-house reviewer, Usmentalist has done a great job on this title, if you have a moment, have a read through his awesome review. 3D Screenshots on the way.

Surprisingly for a game that is also on Xbox 360, there is no 360 controller support for the PC version. There is a work around for this, which is most probably known and used by many of you on these forums. Xpadder is a small program that allows you to assign controller buttons with keyboard buttons, effectively enabling controller support for all non native controller supported games. While I am aware I am about to bring on a tide of 'M & KB is better than controller, any day' comments, I have found this profile very useful playing on my 3D projector from my sofa, where a mouse and keyboard doesnt have the best control

Download the Mass Effect 3 Xpadder profile here

Enjoy!

Really surprising that there is no 360 controller support since Mass Effect began life on the 360. Hopefully they will patch it in. I use an HMZ-T1 for 3d gaming so I must have controller support. I can wait until it is patched in as I have plenty of other stuff to play anyway. How is the 3d in the game? I'm at work so I can't watch any videos.

Only one problem, I can't download the profile because I need to register, and registration seems to be disabled. :(

@margoz, I have added an extra download link for non registered 3Dizzy Forum users. Registration will be open again soon. In the mean time, you can now download the profile without registering.

@fella1: The 3D is awesome on this game, depending on which drivers you use. More info on 3Dizzy.com

Thanks..... the profile for xpadder work great.

I play 1 hour with this configuration and the game looks good on 3D (HUD problems):
- dinamic light = off
- number of cinematic light = 1
- esferic armonic lumination = off

i try later the helix's fix.

Here some screenshots, 100% depth

Just redownload the files whenever you are about to play. That way he doesnt have to write stuff up everytime he updates. Its a WIP and the game is huge. Makes it easier on him.

The HelixMod works great. How the hell couldn't the developers make the game like this in the first place. They should hire this guy as a consultant.
Have any of the effects or game details been removed to fix the game in 3D ? To me it looks the same.

Nope, I don't think he blanked out a single one, he went in by hand and actually *fixed* the shaders. Over 200 of them I believe...that's what he's been busy on the last few weeks along with updating his tool libraries. But yes he'd be a great asset to any game company or Nvidia, but then we'd run the risk of losing his efforts to develop his mod and game fixes. :(

I run the web-site =*(
I asked he is not interested in donations atm. http://helixmod.wikispot.org/FAQ Lists ways you can help out if you are interested. I will sum it up though ranges from learning to code as chiz/mana84/me(not as much as those two), running debugger and removing shaders from a game that has lots of problems(not as hard as it sounds. probably takes 30 mins to learn then complete for one game), leaving a nice comment on any game page you like such as me3(please do not message directly, comments are nice.), going to gg3d dropping a review listed helix as reason its good with a link, putting a link to us in your signature like mine, or giving a link out to the website to some1 new to 3d vision.
