i don't get it
about a week ago my profiles that i had set up in nvidia control panels performance tab worked. i had told it for both gpu fans to speed up depending n the temperature. now the cards wont respond or the profile wont load. so now i cant play any decent games because my cards head up and the gpu fan stays at 40%speed.many people have issues with making device rules and profile polices for their gpus and such. so much so that there are other programs to remedy the issue. why have those options if they are not reliable. there is even any help option on how to make or set up device rules. i would like to use nvidias option for gpu fan profiles because they did work. whats the problem here?

Don't use a first party program when third party programs work better. MSI Afterburner. www.guru3d.com. Much better at setting fan rules then Nvidia or AMD drivers.

Trust them, Rooster, they know what they're talking about.

nVidia's own utilities for this sort of thing have always been rubbish. nTune, anyone?

We all use Afterburner except a few that use eVGA Precision, which is basically the same thing but too small to read.
