I wasn't posting it as an Apple fan either...I was posting for the info that Ivy-E will be early - possibly and with 8 core
and the fact Ivy Engineering samples are out and about


Makes that SRX look even nicer - Wonder if they produce a 16 core -32 thread XEON Monster?

Finding out that Apple is releasing a product that people like the Badminton instructor at my work will no doubt purchase for no other reason that it's Apple and because it has a fancy processor even though none of them understands how it works or why it's good just made my day drop from a -1/10 to a -3/10 on the scale of human happiness.

But the Ivybridge-E is many months away from now, around November probably.
I use Sandybridge-E tho so I wont upgrade to Ivybridge-E, from what I read it's only going to be around 13% faster, and so far I havent noticed any slowdowns on my system. :)
