2nd 9800 GT SLI Not detected
Hi guys, first time post, hoping someone can help me, my first video card is an EVGA 9800 GT 512MB, I got a 2nd card from a friend that is EVGA 9800 GT 1 GB. I installed the 512MB card into the first PCI slot on my A8N-SLI board, and the 1G card into the second slot. I start up windows 7 and the 2nd card is not detected at all, I switched and tested both cards separately, so they work. Is the second card not being detected because of the different RAM? If so I will just sell the 512MB card and get another 1GB, figured I would ask you guys before I did that. Thanks for any input. I also have the SLI bridge connected, I have an Antec Earthwatts EA500 Watt power supply, so I don't think power is an issue.

500 watts probly aint gonna cut it and I think they do need matching ram size

to help see the watts you need can you list your cpu and if its over clocked

I have an AMD Athlon X2 64 4800+, from what I've read my power supply is fine, both fans are working on the cards, the cpu is not overclocked
