Gforce 6 seriers (NX6800-TD256E) Power Cable
I have just purchased this card (MSI NX6800-TD256E) from Ebay but it appears to be lacking a Power Cable which fit onto the top of the PCB
Can anyone give me some information on this cable.

I don't think it needs any additional power. The gold-plated connector on the top of the PCB is for SLI with another card, not a power connector.

If you are referring to this connector http://techreport.com/r.x/intel-9xx/gf6800-6pin2.jpg then you should connect additional power supply to the graphics card.

In case your system PSU doesn't include a 6 pin connector; you may use a 4 pin to 6 pin power connector available on http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812201004
