Can I Use This For Physx?
HI, (happy productive new year to all)
I am wondering if i can use the 520GT-Fanless as a dedicated Physx card?
right now im using the gtx460 and i have the 520 in my stash... (u know, for a rainy day)(i also got a 9500gt in that stash)
so, tell me what you guys think?
is it worth it?

The question should be "should you" and the answer to that is no.

Also very few games support physx thatre actually worth playing. You should look in to whether or not the games you're playing even support it before installing a card for physx

The 520 is very weak for physx, it will probably get your performance worse than better, cause it will bottleneck the 460. Is recomended more then 100 cores GPU for physx and the 520 has only 48. The 880GT, 9800GT, and GTS250 cards are great for physx, but theyre not single slot and difficult to find.

From the new ones you could try GT440 512MB (96 cores) dual slot, GT430 (96 core) single slot, GT530 (96 cores) single slot. Depending on the game they should not be enough.

Check this table of cards:
