My cousin found me a Ford Focus SVT WRC (the car on the cover and trailers of Dirt 3) and is having it freighted to the US.

(I'm paying for it but his gift to me was finding one.)

I don't get presents anymore because I'm single and my family (3 brothers, one sister) all have kids that they spend all of their money on.

However, I can say that I did get one thing (even though I actually paid for it). It's a Samsung Galaxy S2 smartphone. My brother works for Tmobile and was hard up for money for the holidays, so he sold me his brand new SGS2 for $300 USD. That's a heck of a deal, because it's $500+ depending on where you buy it.

I have to say that it's the most amazing smartphone I've ever used. It's fast as lightning and the Super AMOLED Plus screen is a sight to behold. I can't remember the last time I bought a device that impressed me so much...

I just got myself one of those too, and I simply love it. It's even better now that I've flashed it with CyanogenMOD 7.1.

I got an expensive watch, a new pair of shoes, a winter jacket and various clothing and trinckets. My family isn't technologically literate enough to buy technology really. Even if I told them what I wanted, they'd probably come back with the wrong model. They ounce tried to buy me an animation table for my birthday to draw on (I do comic art/illustration. Check signature) and I made it clear not too because they'd come back with a drafting table for architects, which is useless. They went and bought one anyway. It was a drafting table. They made me haul the 7x7ft box up the street on a trolly with no handles to return it...which was humiliating.

Gift cards are annoying. Straight cash is always better.

I got given 2 gift cards - both for different stores. Now I'm stuck with 2x junk items instead of 1 decent one...

Nothing. /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> Money's been too tight for most of my family members this year to do much shopping for presents.

Only Christmas presents I got were the 2x eVGA GTX 560 Ti 448 Core Classified cards I got myself with money I made offa selling the 6990s.

The Focus got here with an aftermarket sound system installed w/o me being charged for it. It's a Sony X-Plode so not my taste in timbre at all, but I'll be able to move it over to my wife's car and re-use the great wiring to install mine in less than 30 minutes since it's already aftermarket. That's an Xmas present in my book!
