GeForce GTX 580 drivers
I'm having the BSOD issues with CoD MW3 that a lot of others are having. I have the latest driver 285.62 for Win7 64bit but the manufacturer ASUS also has a driver. The Nvidia driver is about 147Mb and the ASUS is 186Mb. Are there any problems if you instal the manufacturer's driver and not Nvidia's? Forgive me for being a noob.

Ditto with a single GTX 580.

The 280.xx drivers are just too unstable for use. The 275.33 are pretty sweet. No TDR... I do still get some media playback issues (green dots on video, artifacts on video, etc)

Gaming and web browsing wise they are good to go... no idea if it will fix your MW3 problem though, I passed on that game and BF3 locks up way too often on the 275.33 drivers for me.
