Even if you had 1,000 friends to tell, you wouldn't hurt NVIDIA. Where are you getting the error? You haven't exactly listed any specifics for someone to go on.

So we must hand it over to our tame PC tweaker. Some say he sticky tapes a block of uranium to his dinner before eating it and that he sucks moisture out of ducks. All we know is, he's called Hooks.

Could you possibly list your system specifications please.

Also, ENBseries(assuming you are talking about GTAIV), has FXAA built into the modification. Therefor you cannot stack anti-aliasing forms especially FXAA; that same logic holds true with any title that uses anti-aliasing. You can "enhance" anti-aliasing if the presets are of a certain level within the application. Considering GTAIV does not officially support anti-aliasing external methods normally only work as advanced coverage samples. With that said, even though the author of the modification has included FXAA, it still goes without official support at a driver level.

With that example aside, what issues are you having directly with DirectX? We need system specifications as well as DirectX Version(recent is April 2011).

EDIT: Operating System would also be helpful to include in your system specializations.

the problem is : when the 3D app/game launchs with d3d9.dll loaded, it uses INTEL HD on-board gpu, NOT THE GEFORCE. Then the 3D game/app runs like a picture slide show program ...

as many of the pc games users knowing (from GTA4, Skyrim etc.), 'ENBseris' is an rendering-hacking(performance & shading enhancement) tool of 3d apps, which depends on d3d9.dll as a bridge library(I think..).
but ENBseris and other d3d9.dll loading apps works like **** on any of the optimus laptops (mine is GT555M), so ...

Copy that. Was wondering why Skyrim all of the sudden wasn't using the GT555m anymore when I came to the conclusion that any third party dx9 dll in the game directory prevents Optimus from detecting DX usage -> GT555m is not activated.

Thus tweaks like the ENBseries are not working with Optimus.
