FreeBSD with NVIDIA ION graphics
Hi.

I have Asus EEE PC 1215N model with NVIDIA ION and FreeBSD 9.0-beta1 as OS
And i try setup my X environment but without success.

pciconv -vl:
...
vgapci2@pci0:4:0:0: class=0x030000 card=0x84461043 chip=0x0a7610de rev=0xa2 hdr=0x00
vendor = 'nVidia Corporation'
class = display
subclass = VGA
..
nvidia-driver-270.41.19 (from the /usr/ports/x11)

After
kldload nvidia.ko
, console show:
nvidia2: <ION> on vgapci2
vgapci2: child nvidia2 requested pci_enable_io
vgapci2: child nvidia2 requested pci_enable_io
After generation by nvidia-xconfig-270.41.19, i have Device section in xorg.conf:
Section "Device"
Identifier "Device0"
Driver "nvidia"
VendorName "NVIDIA Corporation"
EndSection

Also i have installed FrameBuffer support ( xf86-video-fbdev-0.4.2 )

But when i try execute xinit, i got:

Hello!!!

I think your problem is you have 3 video controllers, "device 0" Intel N10, "device 1" Intel N10 and "device 2" nVidia

"(!!) More than one possible primary device found
(--) PCI: (0:0:2:0) 8086:a001:1043:8446 Intel Corporation N10 Family Integrated Graphics Controller rev 2, Mem @ 0xf5e00000/524288,

N10 is embedded Graphic controller inside the processor, so you have 3 possible solutions for your problem:

1* - download for N10 driver from Intel site http://www.intel.com/p/pt_BR/embedded/hwsw/software/iegd or http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Laptop+graphics+controllers&ProductProduct=Intel%c2%ae+82852%2f82855+Graphics+Controller+Family and install
2 - disable the N10 in your system
3 - change to correct controller inside the xorg.conf "device 2" nVidia Controller Graphic

(*) anyway i think you need to do that ...
