Recent Changes to the Badword Filter
This is a notification that we have been adding select words and websites to the forum's badword filter as a proactive measure against spam bots. When these select words appear in posts, links, profiles, or personal messages, they will be converted to "##SPAM##" instead of the original word. The intent is to break malicious URLs and make unwanted commercial advertisements more obvious; although we are being very conservative about what we add to the filter, there is still the (very low) possibility that normal, innocent users may be affected, and we wanted everyone to be aware of the change just in case.
