Could you make a working Falcon 4.0 (any version) profile as well as a Mobil Rally Championship one, aka Rally 2000? This would be to fix AA problems in menus (corrupted screen).

those games I do not own, so i cannot do testing on them. I suggest you try out some of the newly discovered AA flags, such as:

or the ones that are new to 266.35 drivers as detailed in the first post. That is how I found what works for Spiderman: Shattered dimension. Otherwise you wil have to wait till someone else who plays those games does it.

Thanks, but all these settings gave me the same glitch in menus, and some other related to Quake 3/Unreal Engine I tried gave me no AA in game. These games are DirectX 6 based and the problem is exactly the same on both of them. If there is any 3d graphic in game menus, this glitch occurs (the moving graphics keep trailing the whole screen), if it's a 2D only menu, it displays fine. You will find screenshots of the problem here.

No way. With bits 0x00400040 AA only works for a mobile phone and a mini-map.
Maybe soon we can play in GTA IV using SRAA (Subpixel Reconstruction Antialiasing).

hmm, I hope there will be a driver-based SRAA implement like the MLAA on Barts and Cayman.

Hi

I can not get AA to work in Splinter Cell: Double Agent. This game is based on a modified "Unreal Engine 2" and is using HDR (I have it turned on in options). I have tried the following settings in Nvidia Inspector:

0x00000044 - no AA at all,
0x00000045 - the game loads, but the image is corrupted (I can see only sky, Sam's glasses :D and a horizon, there is however some trace of AA on the horizon itself),
0x00000145 - game crashes to desktop after loading screen,
0x080100c5 - same as 0x00000045.

The game has its own AA, but it doesn't allow it together with HDR turned on. Some of You may know the problem ,as this is nothing new. But I thought that maybe someone had discovered the solution using some of the newer drivers, as the other UE2 games seem to work fine with AA.

I can confirm that Dead Space 2 works with AA and Very High shadows enabled. I have NVCP set to override game setting with AA at 16x / Supersampling and have dynamic shadows and no jaggies :)

System is a single-card GTX 275 with an nforce 780i board, processor is a Q9550 quad-core and using OCZ reaper memory. Game runs fine, although I drop the AA to 8x for moar bettar fps. If I had a 4 or 5 series GTX i'd bump it higher, but my aging 275 sits at 30-35 fps, about 1/3rd what it runs at 8x and vsync off.

Here are my settings/settings I've used successfully (sorry i'm a little nub with the NVCP and don't use flags, I just use the basic GUI):

Ambient Occlusion: N/A
Anisotropic Filtering: 16x
Antialiasing - Gamma Correction: Global (Off)
Antialiasing - Mode: Override App Setting
Antialiasing - Setting: 16x/8x/16xQ
Antialiasing - Transparency: Supersampling
CUDA - GPUs: Global (All)
Maximum Pre-Rendered Frames: 4/5
Multi-display/Mixed-GPU Acceleration: Single Display Performance Mode
Power Management Mode: Global (Adaptive)
Texture Filtering - Anisotropic Sample Optimization: On
Texture Filtering - Negative LOD Bias: Clamp
Texture Filtering - Quality: Global (Quality)
Texture Filtering - Trilinear Optimization: Global (On)
Threaded Optimization: Global (Auto)
Triple Buffering: On
Texture Filtering - Anisotropic Filter Optimization: Off (it's the only option I have, the drop-down is empty)
Vertical Sync: Force on

I hope that helps some of you. I wouldn't go through the effort for any other game but Dead Space. People must play this game in all it's gorgeousness.

I can confirm that Dead Space 2 works with AA and Very High shadows enabled. I have NVCP set to override game setting with AA at 16x / Supersampling and have dynamic shadows and no jaggies :)

A screenshot would be a nice way to confirm this because i don't want to put unconfirmed stuff into the guide. Or i will need more poeple to confirm it.
