Hey, welcome to the forums.

The graphics provided by that onboard GPU aren't too bad... what kind of settings are you using in the game? (max / med / min / other)

It'd be interesting if you could download and run either EVGA Precision or MSI Afterburner.... both are good for monitoring your GPU and it's usage / temperature etc. From this, we would be able to see if your GPU is being fully utilised. It's possible that the CPU at only 2GHz is a little slow for processing all the data for the game and sending it to the GPU.

If the CPU is too slow and / or depending upon the GPU upgrade (if you go that route), you may end up having to up the CPU speed (an overclock) / get a new CPU to make use of the new GPU. (just read that back and it's a little confusing...? - it's past my bed time /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> ) - I / someone else will clarify that soon /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

I knew I hadn't imagined it... now it's deleted = people will never know what I hadn't imagined...

You should check to verify that video card lag is even your problem.

Download something like eVGA Precision or FRAPS that'll show in-game Frame Rate. If your FPS is above 30-40 constantly, your graphics card/on board graphics is not the problem.
