I just finish a set of benching to see how this benchmark is effected by CPU OCs and GPU OCs.
Done on 3DMark11 Basic

I will do another run when I get a GTX580 and the free code for 3DMark11 Advanced.

Too tired to bother messing with overclocking, so here's mine:

Q9650 @ 3GHz 1333MHz FSB 9x Multi, eVGA GTX 580 Black Ops Edition @ Stock (797/1594/2025), 263.09 drivers

If you need anything else let me know and I'll do it up... I'll update eventually with a 4GHz reading, but that probably won't be until after my new Windows install is stable, if even then.

Is it me, or is this benchmark fubared? Overclocking on the CPU seems to have absolutely no effect on score... that's very abnormal, 'specially considering it HAS a CPU test.

I got the EXACT same score at 4GHz as at 3GHz. X1955 on both. Mayhaps it's because the Extreme setting is so GPU dependent?

Edit: Confirmed. Extreme setting is very very GPU dependent, so score difference is negligible. Even on "Performance" I saw a very small improvement between 3GHz and 4GHz, which leads me to believe the CPU score doesn't scale at all yet. http://3dmark.com/3dm11/40742 was my 4GHz score, P5093 vs. P4882 stock? C'mon now.

Hey everyone! I hope the layout makes sense, and captures everything you'd like... please use the thread in the Overclocking & Benchmarking section for any requested changes:

http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=187063

In the meantime I have added everyones scores so far. Adding an E tab as well, as there are only these three presets overall. JJVAL - please could you add your GPU clocks and CPU multi/FSB?

I'm assuming that's a typo... 293.09 driver eh Raptor? hehe

E9k eh? Dang. I'll haveta see if an OCed CPU actually has an effect on that one.

Edit: Nope, it doesn't effect it one bit looks like... stupid.

I haven't got a proper version of 3DMark 11 yet so I can only submit a Performance score.

P7724 isn't too bad but I'm sure once Futuremark/nVidia get SLI working it'll look terrible.

I'm hoping that everyone's OK with me posting a score with HD5870s, I thought that it would be a good point of reference. The amount of effort it took to get working though was insane. 3DMark 11 and various other games thought that I was running "ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 Series" cards in CrossFireX and as such, told me that I didn't have DirectX 11 capabilities. That probably has something to do with the HD4350 I had in here before ATI fixed the 3D clocks when two monitors were attached to one card issue.

Just for the table:
CPU: i7 920
Multi: 21x
FSB: 191MHz
Clock (MHz): 4011MHz
GPU: 2x XFX HD5870
SLI: No (but I am running CrossFireX)
Clocks: 875MHz/NA/5000MHz
Driver: 10.10e

My i7 920 is at 4GHz, 3DMark and other applications don't seem to like the TurboMode multiplier of 21x.
I haven't got a proper version of 3DMark 11 yet so I can only submit a Performance score.

So is that like... 4 GPUs or 2? Very nice score either way /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Must be nice that scaling works on multiple ATI GPUs but not NVidia :-P Futuremark FUBARed SLi support, go figure.

It's only two.

I actually have no idea how well it scales, although it is apparent that it does. MSI Afterburner was closed at the time for troubleshooting my little HD4350 debacle so I couldn't see GPU usage. I'm sure AMD still has some optimizations to do.

That whole SLI not working thing is concerning. I'm sure it's just a driver thing though and nVidia will soon release a fix.

These scores are really useless for folks with SLI and Tri and Quad SLI, 3D11 is only using one card, Nvidia is realeasing a new driver soon that will fix that, also you will see some with big scores because they are using the 265.90 drivers with a modified INF...

I wouldn't say they are useless - at the moment 3DMark 11 simply doesn't work with SLI. People with SLI can hold of for now, or simply re-post a score when its fixed :)
