Nvida Control Panel Nvidia Control Panel keeps crashing
Nvidia Control Panel keeps crashing everytime I try to open it, I am running an XFX 780i SLI, 2 EVGA 260GTX, 2 300GB Veloiraptor raid-0, 2 1GB DDR1066. When I try to open the control panel to enable the sli setup the nvidia control panel will just crash, I have uninstalled reinstalled the video drivers, updated to SP3. And I don't know what else to say other then I can't figure out how to get SLI up and running without the control panel working. I have attached my DxDiaglog file.

No I can't open the control panel to enable it. And I can't find where to download the control panel itself. On the website I find the page relating to the control panel and click the link that say where to get it and it just links to the site to download drivers, not the control panel application.

ok here is a fresh way to get it to work. most likely .
1.uninstall your current driver ( control panel,performance n maintence,system,hardware tab,display adapter)\
2.then go to nvidia website http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
and select the type.
3. and click search, it will come up. download that and install it. then reboot
after that it should work.
4.right click desktop, nvidia control panel, enable sli, advance setting, enable visual indicator

i had sli trouble too u can check here if u want.

Just curious , when it crashes does it blue screen or do you get an error message ? if you are getting an error message , you could go to microsoft's website and type it in the search box ,
or try googling it , it sounds like an XP problem .

It certainly sounds like a corrupted DLL.

Try this.
Download the latest drivers for your cards from here.
Uninstall the video drivers.
Reboot to safe mode.
Use Driver Sweeper and clean up Ageia and Nvidia display drivers.
Install the new drivers you download.
Reboot back into Windows.
Try opening the NVCP.

As a side question do you use NHancer? I notice for me, it crashes my NVCP if I open it to modify my game profiles.
