Help with XFX 8800GT BIOS Flashing
I recently been trying to overclock both my 8800GT's and all seems to be fine but I read that by flashing the BIOS with specific firmware you can overclock them even further.

Currently I have the standard version of the XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog Edition, is it possible to flash the BIOS with the XXX edition? If by flashing to the XXX edition, will it affect the actual 8800GT?

If what I'm trying to do is incorrect, how can I increase the voltage on the 8800GT without having physcially do anything to them, such as soldering. I will be watercooling the 8800GT if I manage to do this so that I won't burn them to ashes.

Thanks for any input!

I haven't mustered the bravey to try it yet. I'm a little uncertain about procedure from start to finish eventhough there are guides out there to aid.

Yeah I had a quick ponder on that site previously ... was hoping that someone here had a go at it and share some light on how it went.

I persume on that site XFX 8800GT (X3) refers to the XXX edition
