it is a non essesntial process, if you are really bothered by it then you can stop it starting up, but unless your system is struggling to run windows smoothly or you are running out of ram, theres not much point.

NVSVC (NVVSVC,exe) Any settings set from the nvidia control panel are applied by this service, including 3d settings, desktop color settings, physx settings, custom refresh and resolution settings.
