What is nVidia MCP67M ?
I have a Compaq Presario V3639AU laptop with vista. I want to downgrade it to Xp, so I want to download the drivers. But I cannot find this nVidia MCP67M in nVidia website. In Compaq Specification, it is a chipset. But when I follow someone's link to download the driver, it linked to nForce or GeForce driver (which is graphic driver). So what is MCP67M ? Graphic or Chipset ?

as you can see, its a graphics card. equivelant to the 7150.

I found an old thread that does not specifically state the chipset they tried to used, but try this . The only complaint the previous thread had was the GPU and Network werent working. So those are below.

The nVidia Driver for the GPU

You might need some hardware specific drivers from COMPAQ

You might need some hardware specific drivers from COMPAQ

My Opinion is no more important or right than yours. But if your using the LATEST drivers, go back to the prior set.

Piss Poor tech support blame all issues on drivers and assumes that your an idiot. Find a set that you know worked and see if the problem exists still.

""Don't f with it if it ain't broken!""

Constantly updating drivers is a good way to F'up the whole system.

In GPU driver you posted, my nVidia GeForce 7150 / nForce 630i is not listed in product supported drivers. I'm not sure it can run. how about this nVidia driver 190.62, do you think this will work on me?

if you try to install a driver that doesnt support your hardware it wont break or anything it will just give you a message saying it cant find any supported hardware and wont even install. at least try installing!
