I dont have winrar installed and I should not have to install it. The driver is bugged and needs to be fixed.

I'm having the same error on the new driver. But my WinRAR reports that it is an invalid archive file!!!
I downloaded twice (and will try another way again too!).

Download the drivers using Internet Explorer...Nvidia's servers somehow jack up when fielding requests from alternate browsers.

The problem is not windows 7 but the file itselft is corrupt, download 7zip and extract the file, you'll get a message that says "file is broken" and this happens only with the latest one I downloaded "197.45 win7 64bit"
I've been extracted other gforce drivers "190.62 win7 64bit" and they seem to be working fine!
Problem is the browser; I prefer Firefox and Oprah but for these downloads Don't use Crome, Firefox, or Oprah...rather use I8...!

I have been using ie8 the whole time and I get the non 7-zip archive error everytime I try to install. Winrar can't open the file either.

I have it working now. I went to my other comp which doesnt have an nvidea graphics card and used firefox to download and I was able to extract the file. I made a new compressed file using winzip, put it on a flash, brought it to my laptop and voila! it is installing now. Nvidea should correct this issue so I dont have to do all that work next time.
