While playing lotro windowed mode other apps SLOW
I recently bought a new computer. It is a AMD PHenom(tm) 9850 Quad Core- processor 2.50 GHz w/ 8 GB Ram, Vista 64 bit os
9600 GS Nvidia Geforce card in it.

My MAIn problem is that my computer lags/freezes up for up to 2-3 min while trying to switch to another application while running LOTRO in windowed mode. Just simply clicking off the screen onto my start button causes this, now i know my computer is not the best but i am almost certain it should be able to run this game and internet maybe even itunes at same time? So far ive messed with every setting in game possible and have monitored mem usage and it doesnt seem to spike up at all during these lagg times. Also heard Aero graphics on vista might be interfering with game but i also tried running it after switching color scheme to vista basic and..still same thing happens. I simply do not know anymore what i can do to get this game to play smoothly in windowed mode so that i can do other things on internet etc while playing. I do not enjoy playing in just full screen =[. Another problem i have is when i launch game ..it goes black for almost a minute before loading the cinematics.. and when i exit out it also takes about 30 secs at a black screen.

I had that exact same problem in my previous system (core2duo 2.6Ghz & 8800 GTS), but I have no trouble running lotro windowed/minimized with other programs running simultaneously in my oc'ed i7 system. Are you running your cpu at stock speed? My guess is it's your cpu that can't handle the windowed mode and other apps at the same time. Try overclocking it up a bit and see if that helps.
