No driver for GeForce2 MX/MX 400 - 32mb (AGP)? Isn't this the nVidia website?
Hy!

I have the GeForce2 MX/MX 400 video, but no driver. I buyed it on second hand, so I did not get any CD with it.
I've searched here and on the site, but I didn't find any driver. How is that possible? Isn't this the official nVidia website?

Same drivers that support the 4MX support your card too. They're the 93.71.

I've found this on nVidia's site:

But also, by using the FileHippo UpdateChecker, I got this:

It seems to be a higher version, but I'm not sure it is what I need. It is a bit strange because I didn't install any driver at all, but maybe it was in Windows or a game installation or something...

Now, what should I do? What version should I upgrade to?
If I have a newer driver, my video card could work better?

With any card up to the 7 series, stick with the 93.71 drivers. From 8 series and up, get the latest 177.xx

It is clearly XP Professional with a 3rd-party skin.

Yes, it is Windows XP SP2.

I've solved the display issue by rolling back at the previous driver version.
Take a look at this print screen:

I did not install this driver, maybe it has been installed automacally from the Win install disk.
The one that I put yesterday was v. 6.14.10.9371 (2006), so a newer version, but you've seen that I haved problems with it. Now my question is: It is important to still try upgrading the driver? A newer driver could make my video card work better? The games could be displayd better? Or it is insignifient change? I'm asking because in this point, I don't know what I should do. /ermm.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ermm:' />

That is the defualt xp driver hence it says (Microsoft Corporation)56.73Whql!

Very much suspest you have no mobo. chipset drivers installed. So hardware acceleration is playing up.

Also

Try the 77.77 or (61.77 oldest with directx 9c support.)
The 56.72whql with full nvcp will work that card great but it will warn apon install that it is an older driver version, just say yes if you want to try it.

The 84.21 is also a good choice, it's the first one to support dual-core processors.
